Saturday, January 30, 2010 - Submitted by Al Manderson

The Penticton Vees took advantage of numerous chances on the power play as they cruised to a 4-1 win over Quesnel.  The Vees were with out BCHL Scoring leader Denver Manderson and Alex Szczechura and it still didn't matter.

Andrew Pickering got the Vees on the board first at 18:40 of the first with an easy tap in at the side of the net.  Beau Bennett made it 2-0 as Penticton passed the puck around with authority at 50 seconds of the second.  Joey Holka made it 3-0 at 16:47 also in the second frame.

In the third, Matt Paltridge made it 4-0 at 9:56 before Taylor Holst ruined the Sean Bonar shut out at 18:27 of the third from Trever Hertz, and Eliot Raibl.
