The Millionaires wrapped up their exhibition season at .500 as the Grande Prairie Storm (AJHL) beat Quesnel 5-3 in Dawson Creek. Grande Prairie opened the scoring as Jordan Forfar beat Kirby Halcrow in net for Quesnel at 12:40 of the first period. The Mills tied it as Malcolm Gould scored the first of 2 as he scored with 34 seconds left in the first frame with an assist from Spencer Graboski. Grande Prairie then scored 3 in the second period to Quesnels 1 to take a 4-2 lead after 40 minutes. Tanner Fritz, Mitch Neumeier, and Daniel Correale scored for the Storm, while Quesnel responded with Gould scoring his second of the night at 13:17 with the assist again going to Spencer Graboski. Tyler French got Quesnel to within one at 14:26 of the final period with an assist to Michael Spring, but that was as close as Quesnel could get, as an empty netter sealed the deal for the Storm victory as Josh Phillips slid the puck into the empty cage.
