Core Values:

The way we conduct our business and ourselves is extremely important. Anyone associated with the Quesnel Millionaires must understand our core values. Our core values are simple, clear and understandable to everyone. These values cannot be and should not be compromised or tested in anyway. The core values that make our team and organization great fall into five fundamental qualities all of which we would like to think of as a separate finger on a fist. Any one individual is important, however, all of them together are unbeatable.

1. Communication
2. Trust
3. Collective Responsibility
4. Caring
5. Highest Ethical Standards

Communication
We must learn to communicate in a positive manner to be effective. Whether something is going wrong or something is going right we must communicate it openly and honestly. We must learn to speak the truth always…no B.S.

Trust
There are no words more important…trust must be developed amongst everyone associated with our team and organization. To establish trust we need to commit to expressing ourselves openly and honestly by meeting the truth head on.

Collective Responsibility
As an organization we are going to make mistakes…if we want a great team and organization, there should be no excuses or finger pointing when someone or our team is not perfect. Take responsibility for your actions. Every individual has to realize that it's "OUR JOB" no matter what happens. Great organizations embrace responsibility…it's that simple.

Caring
Looking for compassion and empathy in one leads to building a successful organization. Care about your teammates, care about your team and organization, care about yours and your teams performance, care about being the best…about personal excellence. Always care about being the best that you can be!

High Ethical Standards
When we believe and can put our own personal signature on everything this team and organization does, then we have a chance to be a great hockey team. It is not until we believe that everything we do must have a personal best attached to it will we be proud of our performance. Maintained in all the facets of hockey and the business operations. The criteria by which we are measured include doing what is right - every time. This means:

· Fiscally responsible for all operations of the hockey club;

· Showing loyalty towards our organization and it's people;

· Trusting one another; Showing loyalty towards our organization and it's people;

· Communicating openly and honestly;

· Demonstrating respect and care for every individual;

· Being socially responsible; and

· Committing to representing the City of Quesnel in a positive and influential manner without ever compromising our core values or vision.
